Paws for Cause Animal Rescue is a registered non-profit, foster-based rescue located in Ottawa. Our mission is to help animals in need locally and internationally, through rescue, adoption, advocacy, and education.

We are a small but passionate team of volunteers committed to giving vulnerable animals a second chance. All animals in our care are placed in loving foster homes, where they receive the individualized support they need to thrive. Our foster families play a vital role in each animal's recovery, rehabilitation, and adoption journey.

While we have supported both cats and dogs in the past, we are currently focusing our efforts on cats and kittens, as their need for rescue support continues to grow. We hope to expand again in the future to welcome dogs back into our care when resources allow.

As a non-profit organization, we rely solely on donations and fundraising efforts. Adoption fees go directly back into the rescue to help cover the cost of food, medical care, and supplies.
